What makes a good grammar website? Evaluating a website dedicated to reviewing grammar.
Since my English grammar knowledge started to fade I had to find a website helping me to regain and also to extend my previous store of learning. Finally, I found this page: https://www.perfect-english-grammar.com/ that I would like to introduce and evaluate in this entry.

At first glance it is not a stunning, eye-catching website (sorry Seonaid), the emphasis is on the quality and usefulness of the contents. The site is free but it offers online grammar courses on different levels for money. You can take a mini-test with a short explanation after every checked answer so it helps you to determine your English grammar level. I think it is useful to take if you are willing to pay for one of the online courses.
The construction of the site is simple, it consists of 3 main sections/pages: courses, explanations and exercises. It is easy to find the grammar rule you want to learn. The explanations are detailed, clear and wide-ranging from beginner to advanced level. Most of the grammar explanations are available in a downloadable pdf-file, as well. I especially like the infographics, because these make the understanding of the tenses easier and they are allowed to use freely in a classroom.

The page offers a huge amount of online exercises to practice so you can check your answers immediately. The tasks and worksheets with the right answers are accessible and downloadable in pdf format, too. In addition, if you would like to get more lessons in e-mails, you have to subscribe to the newsletter of the site.
In my opinion the
Perfect English Grammar is a useful site primarily for those who are in at
least A1 or A2 level and are able to interpret and understand the explanations
of the grammar rules in English. Teachers also benefit from this webpage. So, answering the question, the quality of the content, the usefulness, the clear explanations with sample sentences make a grammar website good.
